Some things

well im just going to write about everything really. I guess i'll start with that all the snow we got in those pictures i put on last time is gone! ya 2 feet of snow, just gone. Thats Colorado for ya. Hmmmmm another thing is im getting obsessed with the Twilight series, if you guys dont know what that is, its like the most popular teen fiction book right now. Theres 4 books in the series and im on the 2nd one. they're pretty large books in my opinion, and its really hard to sink in that i've read a 500 page book and the 2nd one is even bigger. They get larger and larger each time! AAAnother thing thats like ALL over the news, the swine flu. It sort of creeped me out at first but its like no where near colorado right now and we have a very small chance of getting it. People just are being told to wash their hands and do the "sick routine". Personally, unless it gets over to where i am im not that worried about it. hmmmmmmmm and one more thing is on friday im going to Denver AGAIN for a feild trip. I dont mind having feild trips to denver but i hate the bus ride there, i get so like claustrofobic and hot when we have to crowd in on the buses for an hour and a half. yeah not the funest expirence but the places we get to go are cool, like this time instead of the Aquarium were going to the Museum of Nature and Science, Its with the hole 7th grade instead of my team this time too. Sooooo ya theres some updates on my life for ya.

A little snow couldn't hurt

So as a cold front sweeps in... TONS of snow in Colorado!!!!!!! im extremely happy we got our first snow day in over a year yesterday and it was very relaxing staying inside and being lazy as the 1 & half foot deep snow is still growing. Ok so it started thursday night and STILL hasnt stopped. Its crazyness, but we need the moisture, soo its really good :)

Easter!

friday nights...

Friday nights (and saturday) can get sooooooooooooo boring, as you can tell i when im bored i take pictures, and as you can also tell i like to draw on myself, and i dont know why i do that but it entertains me! And im gonna sound a lot like my mom here but i've been listening to Foo Fighters because i was messing around on Rhapsody and i remembered i actually like some of their songs, so i was like dancing wildly eariler to the Pretender. I really feel like going to a school dance today because i have this energy that says i want to dance! which i wish i had that energy yesterday when i actually had dance class but oh well. Wanna hear something that rarely comes out of my mouth?> Tomarrow im going to shopping with a friend for a dress, ya thats right you heard it- a dress. It's for Easter, my friend talked me into buying one, so shes gonna take me shopping... I dont wear dresses for those of you that dont really know my style, the last time i woar a real dress was at my aunt's wedding. soooo yeah thats gonna be fun, im going to wear it to church too. IM really bored, and you can tell because my posts arent this long unless im telling you a story or something. anyways i should probably stop now :p

Ok, soo here is my monthly update! OK so yesterday i had my cluster concert with the MS choir and everyone else in the district, which is all 3 elementary school choirs, my choir, the MS band, and the HS madrigols! there was a lot of people. Anyways another thing thats happened recently is i totally reorganized my room, its awesome. And one other thing is i got a pet bird!!!! isnt that sweet?!?! his name is Sammy, hes a parakeet!



LOL ApRiL FoOlS! i dont really have a pet bird, haha that was really lame, but im a dork so deal with it! just kidding

Spring Break

But besides the snow, my spring break has been boring, fun, and crappy. i've been bored because im cleaning out my hole room, and i've had some fun with friends, and its also been crappy because i've gotton sick twice so far and im still not feeling the greatest. but other than that stuff im just happy to be off school!

The 30 Hour Famine

So last saturday i did the 30 hour famine, and i know all of you are thinking whats the 30 hour famine? well its where i fasted for 30 hours strait to help raise awareness. It showed us how much kids in other countries starve so much and that more than 26,000 kids under the age of 5 die every day from preventable causes like disease, poverty, and HUNGER. So now your thinking, well just starving yourself isnt going to help those kids. So we had this fundraiser where we get sponsers to donate and every dollar that i get feeds a kid for a day. so i raised 60 bucks, im feeding a kid for 2 months. i just think it really showed how bad those kids are suffering, because america is SPOILED, i mean those kids cant go to the frige and get peanutbutter or whatever you want when your hungry, those kids depend on rain for their food to grow and they can eat finally, those kids have to walk like maybe 5 miles just to get water and then walk back! i mean it really got to me how spoiled we really are, i mean the poorest person here most likely has more than those people in Africa do. And so since i started going to my youth group and church, i found out about it and we had a lock in at the Middle School, but sadly i only fasted for 24 hours because (well it started at noon on friday and ended in the evening on saturday) i stopped at noon on saturday, because the lady there said if you feel sick then you should eat something and i felt sort of (this is gonna sound funny) delusional, and didnt really feel like i was all there, I ate an orange. But i mean 24 hours is still pretty long, i mean thats one hole day and i only got like 4-5 hours of sleep friday night. But on Saturday we did these survuce projects to help out the community, so the middle schoolers just picked out around the school and made it look really nice outside. And the lucky highschoolers got to go to other places and help out, because they went to the Humane Society and helped there which i thought would be a lot more fun then picking up trash and leaves, but oh well. So at the end of this 30 long and tough hours, all of us including the highschoolers got to eat pizza, it was like so releiving to eat something and like stuff your face with it, but it was a really good learning expeience i think.
