hip hop and youth group

hey everyone, one of my new years resolutions was to get into more activities i guess you could say with the community, so last week i went to a youth group with my friend lauren and i really liked it so now i joined it and every wednesday i go at 6:30 and its a lot of fun cuz we play a lot of games and then we talk about Jesus and how your life can be empty if you dont take time to talk to God and its really interesting to me. and then i joined this hip hop class in town today which is on the same day as my youth group but it works cuz there at different times. but anyways that was a lot of fun to, exept sort of painful because we do warmups for half an hour and im not very flexible right now so im sort of soar but im pretty sure thats what its supposed to do and the warmups are just to make sure you dont hurt your self when you dance but ya it was a lot of fun! and im glad i joined some kind of dance class again because when i was littleler and i did tap dance i really liked it but the place i went to wasnt good at all because of the teachers and the prices but im not going to get into that, but i really enjoyed it but my mom didnt want to pay them anymore so i stopped going. but i did like dancing so im very glad im doing it again!

iPod Project

hey everyone for my math class we had an assignment to enlarge or shink an everyday object, so i decided to enlarge my iPod 5 times as big! heres some pics!

Water Crazyness

well this is gonna sound weird but yesterday one of the main water tanks or whatever in woodland park brake open and so yesterday morning on the part of town where i live, had no water at all. So we had a two hour delay yesterday because they had to fix it, but guess what today i didnt even have school because they say that the water could be contaminated or something and we shouldnt drink it from the tap. but you can shower in it and stuff like that but if you wanna cook with it or something we have to boil it for like 5 min. but its weird how its just where i live that has to do it. like my friend lauren who lives on the other side of town, her water is fine! crazyness, but i didnt even go to school today because of it, but sadly i do have to go tomarrow. But ya so right now i cant even drink my water.....

I have a dream....

today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. and i hope that all of you have really thought about how much this day means. today is probably the most important Martin Luther King Jr. day ever since his I have a Dream speech. I've heard more than once today that people think his dream has finally come true, Because tomorrow the first african american will become President of the United States of America. I guess some could say that Barrack Obama has granted Martin Luther King Jr's wish. but racism isnt gone in america but look at where we are right now... Tomarrow Barrack Obama will be The President of the United States.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

well people as you all know on monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and i just sorta wanted to talk about it a little because yesterday in my Social Studies class (which is history i guess you could say or geography whatever u wanna call it) and we watched a movie about how bad racism really was back then, i mean we knew that there was drinking fountains for whites only and fountains for blacks only but this movie was pretty intense and sad. it talked about how kids, Little kids would get sepparated from there parents and never see them again just because of their race. and it also talked about how like the Irish and the Jews and the japs (japanese) were either put into camps because of their race and practically abused in my point of view or they were killed... i just thought that was horrible, and it really told me how important martin luther king jr day is this year because the anogeration ( i think thats how you spell it) of the first black african american president is happening and its pretty amazing just how far our country has come in such a short amount of time

i got the saturday blues

i don't even think there's such thing as the Saturday blues but i got them because i need to read this really boring book that doesn't even make sense by Tuesday. and its snowing outside right now! woah! amazing... anyways im just taking a break from my reading right now and felt like bloggin' oh ya yesterday i got my hair cut and its like i think 2 inches shorter! ya i know i look pretty crazy in that pic but thats because i am!
